WE JUST HAPPEN TO BE HERE
Directed by
A stone triggers a dialectic on fate. On the eve of leaving Hong Kong, a young man visits his grandfather at an island nursing home to say goodbye, listening to stories of Hong Kongās glorious past and his grandfatherās romantic history. That night, in a park now known as a gay cruising spot, he unexpectedly meets his grandfatherās secret lover from youth. Reality and memory blur, fictional and real fates intertwine, leaving him bewildered and uneasy as he faces an uncertain future.
