Die Meistersinger von NĂźrnberg - The San Francisco Opera
Directed by
It is love at first sight when the knight Walther von Stolzing first meets the goldsmithâs daughter, Eva. But tradition trumps love in 19th-century Nuremberg. Her father has decreed thereâs only one way to win Evaâs hand in marriage, and thatâs to join Nurembergâs guild of competitive singersâand beat them all in song.
